Experiment Power Distribution Box. AEG, Telefunken Industries, Germany. Serial N0 – 300007A/01. Contract No – CC AE-000100. This was a component of the Electrical Power Subsystem from ESA’s Spacelab Module used on Space Shuttle missions. Specifically, this EPDB provided distribution, control, and monitoring for the experiment electrical power distribution system that powers experiments in the Spacelab racks. 1 to 3 boxes were installed under the segment floor depending on the configuration. The Electrical Power Characteristics of this unit. DC Power Voltage 28 +/- 4v. AC Power Output 3 Phases plus neutral line. Output Current 2 outputs max 60A each. Power 4 outputs 2.7 KVA total. Peak Power 3.5 KVA for 120 Seconds. This unit came from MSFC, flown status or any other history is unknown at this time.
