Power control is the first line of defense in bringing a system or device back online. The Pakedge PowerPak 8I Power DistributionUnits give integrators unprecedented convenience and control for all of the critical equipment in an AV and home automation rack. Surge protected and BakPak enabled, the Pakedge PowerPak series PDUs are purposefully designed for connected homes and allowdealers to have even greater insight and control over a customer’s connected home. The PowerPaks have robust monitoring capabilities for input voltage, frequency, individual outlet current. The user-defined alerts can trigger actions based on these measurements, sound an audible buzzer, and send notifications. With the integration of the PowerPak 8I into the BakPak Cloud Management System, all of these features are available remotelyin a global network view. Connected devices can be managed as groups for efficiency or individually and port-by-port with namedoutlets for specificity. The elegant OLED display enables per-outlet control and monitoring as well as network information to help withPowerPak setup. Devices can be rebooted from the OLED or remotely. Power on and power off sequencing can be configured in thegraphical user interface (GUI) to ensure safe restart and optimal network functionality.
